NOTE: The filling of these thermal bags can attract tiny insects that feed on your wheat kernels and invade the bag with ease. Fortunately, you can prevent an infestation by killing these insects before their eggs hatch or are laid by females. There are two ways to do this:
Heat: Microwave the bag for about 3 minutes, stirring it every 30 seconds. In the oven, at 60 °C (140 °F), place the beans on a tray, spread out well. Bake for 15 minutes. Let them cool before putting them back in the bag.
Freezing: Place the freshly purchased bag in the freezer and leave it intact for 3 days. Then allow all the beans to thaw before storing.
